Eatery

Eatery is a cozy little spot in Cairo Festival City that’s definitely worth checking out, especially for breakfast! I’ve been there twice now – once for dinner and once for their legendary breakfast spread.

Let’s start with the breakfast experience since that’s where Eatery really shines. Their famous Feteer Meshaltet and Tablyet El Omda were both delicious and perfect for sharing with a small group or family. The flavors were on point, and the portions were very generous. The staff was super friendly and accommodating too, which always makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Now, the dinner service wasn’t quite as stellar, if I’m being honest. While the food wasn’t bad per se, it didn’t really wow me the way the breakfast dishes did. But hey, you can’t be perfect at everything, right?

What Could’ve Been Better

One area that could potentially use some improvement is the overall ambiance and vibe during dinner hours. It felt a little underwhelming compared to some of the other restaurants in the area. But that’s just a minor critique.

Overall, I’d highly recommend Eatery, especially if you’re craving a tasty breakfast or looking for a laid-back spot to catch up with friends over coffee and pastries. The service is great, and you’re bound to leave with a satisfied tummy!

Sizzler

If you’re a steak lover like me, then Sizzler at Cairo Festival City needs to be on your radar! I recently went there for lunch with some friends, and their jumbo steak with creamy mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and veggie rice was an absolute knockout. The steak was cooked to perfection – juicy, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Everything on the plate was delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous too.

But Sizzler isn’t just a one-hit wonder when it comes to steaks. We also tried their combo mix appetizer for two, and let me tell you, each bite was better than the last! The fried chicken with white creamy pasta was another table favorite – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and that pasta was just heavenly. Their Pina Colada cocktail was also on point and went down way too easily.

The staff was super friendly and professional, which is always a plus in my book. The restaurant itself has a classy, upscale vibe with its sleek design and decor. I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was too.

What Could’ve Been Better

Now, for the potential drawbacks. While the food was outstanding, the overall dining experience could use some tweaking. It was quite noisy due to the combination of conversations, music from the restaurant speakers, and even sound bleeding in from the mall itself. The tables felt a bit too close together for my liking too. Oh, and be prepared to potentially wait for a table.

But those are relatively minor gripes in the grand scheme of things. If you’re craving exceptional steaks, delectable appetizers, and a lively ambiance, Sizzler should definitely be on your list of places to try in Cairo Festival City!

Bosporus

If you’re craving authentic Turkish flavors in Cairo Festival City, Bosporus needs to be at the top of your list! This place is an absolute gem, offering up some of the most delicious Turkish cuisine I’ve had in a while.

Let me start by raving about their mixed grill platter – the meat was cooked to perfection, full of those classic Turkish spices that just make your taste buds sing. Their hummus was also on point, and the lsan el-asfour soup was so comforting and flavorful. But the real star might have been their freshly baked Turkish bread – I could have made a meal out of that alone!

The atmosphere is another big draw for Bosporus. You’ve got the option of enjoying your meal indoors or alfringing on their outdoor terrace seating. The vibe is lively yet still relaxing, making it a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or family.

What Could’ve Been Better

Now, one area that could be improved is the service, particularly when it comes to getting your main courses out promptly. A couple of the reviews mentioned some delays there. But in my experience, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived.

The prices are also a tad on the higher side, but in my opinion, the quality of the food and the overall experience makes it worthwhile to splurge a little.

All in all, Bosporus is a must-visit if you find yourself at Cairo Festival City craving some incredible Turkish fare. Just come with a hearty appetite and get ready to feast!
